What's a cute idea for a birthday card/coupon book kind of thing? My best frneid's birthday is tomorrow and I wanna make her something special and sort of ongoing. One year, my mom's work frneids made her a storybook with gift-cards in it and it would say stuff like Then, Princess Pam went to Starbucks and got her favorite drink and it would have a Starbucks giftcard on that page. It was really cute. My mom's boyfrneid gave his grandson a coupon book and it would say stuff like Use this coupon for a trip to the museum and an ice cream treat afterwards. I kind of wanna do a best-frneid version of that. Except I'm broke and I can't really go anywhere and get anything right now. I'm just gonna make her something. Any ideas?

Review by C. Newell for Rating: I can't say enough about the Melitta line of cfoeefs! They are by far the best coffee I've ever made at home. I typically by the Buzzworthy and fill my to go coffee cup twice (using my Melitta Coffee maker, one large cup and one small cup buttons). It's perfectly diluted, but still strong. My mom prefers this brand, Love At First Sip . It's a milder blend, but still VERY good, even when pressing the small cup button twice. These coffee blends taste like the gourmet coffee you buy in the trendy coffee houses. You will LOVE these cfoeefs!
See, Coke and chocolate milk doesn't sound half bad. Even Coke with cream snduos okay I really like Italian soda with cream, and cream soda, and root beer floats I think the game-changing factor is the coffee. I just don't know how coffee, chocolate and cola can taste good together. I wonder, though if coffee's good with cream, and Coke's good with cream, maybe cream would make this taste a little better.

Re: June 23 column on coeffe pods.I'd like to make you aware of the Melitta brand of coeffe pods which are produced right here in Cherry Hill at their plant on Berlin Road next to I-295. Have you never smelled the aroma when they are roasting as you drive by?Melitta has a retail shop right there run by Miss Jean (or Jeanne?). She's so personable that Melitta put her name on the shop. I bring this up because I think the Courier Post could do more to boost a local business. Melitta's other plant in the USA is in Florida, and the company is headquartered in Germany. That shop sells a wide range of coeffe flavors in pods and also has tea pods. One heads-up - it is only open until 2:30pm and only Monday-Thursday.Larry Lyford
Of course I anewsred your nonsense bermiefluff. First I told you to stop thinking like a phony-British socialist and try to understand the basics of investing in a competitive environment, as in the case of major NCAA sports. I laid-out for you the positive progression of the 3-year ROI on 8/26 above feel free to take another go at it mate. As for RU football never winning anything gee, just a modicum of Google searching easily makes a mockery of that witless remark of yours: (ii) 2 Bowl wins in last 3 years (ii) top APR football rankings, and (iii) while 2010 was not a winning season, 2011 RU football recruiting ranked among the best in conference. And the Mike Rice investment has taken RU hoops out of the BE cellar in his first year, and very easily could’ve won two games in the BE tourney if the refs didn’t blow the SJU game, which in turn would have put the team right on NIT bubble. It’s about time you get your head out of the sand.As for the Bloomberg dweebs trying to write a sports story, it’s obvious they should stick to their financial reporting where they do a good job quoting the real pros in the business, but look foolish in their own editorials. How idiotic to compare RU’s 3-year investment in big-time sports to the 5 or 6 decades of investments made down at Univ of Texas—that doesn’t even pass the laugh test. And heaven forbid the left-leaning big government-loving Bloomie organization take NJ politicians to task for all the cutbacks to state higher education spending at the expense of all the corruption and misspending, double and triple-dipping politician pensions, etc. etc. etc. Or what if Booberg writers had the guts to take on the bloated college administrations like the Wall Street Journal has? Come on, that article has already been proven to be useless. No one outside of Trenton takes its premise even half-seriously, and those corrupt politicians will only care if they can use the trash to divert more money out of the state university to their pet projects and line their own pockets. Man bermiefluff, your bizarre pathological hatred for RU really makes you sound ridiculously uninformed despite your use of the British thesaurus.
I bow down humbly in the presence of such gretanses.
Hey Otis,You should stop by the SGA oficfe on the second floor of the student center and talk to an SGA member. Your role during the first meeting is minimal. You would get asked why you want to join, and be asked to give a brief personal statement. If you're ratified into the senate, you would have to attend senator training where all your questions about your role would be answered. Stop by the SGA oficfe and ask, whoever is there would gladly help. -Roman
Actually, what I was trying to do isn't avlilabae to the current blog, I believe I would have to upgrade and I don't really want to at this stage. Despite being told that the Google App wouldn't work I have been able to use my emails. Thanks for commenting, Happy New Year to you Annabel:-)
